It’s been a really long time since I’ve posted any pictures of the boys. My mom doesn’t like that.
October has been an insanely full month: school activities, work, a trifecta of illnesses for Kai, more work, the boys’ birthday parties, a new calling in Primary…and I could go on and on.
But we are enjoying some new loves. For Kai and Dax, that would be their b-day bikes. And for me, the SwankoLab photo app.

Made some decorations for Dax’s upcoming bake sale at school. I really love the jaunty, scattered colors on a recent purchase of mine, this Poketo bag designed by Joe Rogers, so that was my inspiration for the mobiles. Another cheapy project using cardstock, tissue paper, vellum, and thread.

These are the invitations for Kai and Dax’s upcoming birthday party. Or shall I say, BOOOOday party! I wrapped the mummy invites in gauze bandage, and with Kai’s help, finished it with felt and googly eyes. The card itself opens and is folded along the top (party info inside), and why am I telling you this? Because I forgot to take pictures.
Aside from the ink already in my printer, this project cost me $7.
