Just came across your blog via Design Mom. Really great job! Your kids are supremely cute too.

My older daughter has her birthday coming up in October as well and we are having great fun preparing stuff for her pirate-superhero-mermaid party.

Wonderful inspiration! I have made the Martha lollipop flower cupcakes tons of time. They look great in the photo, but believe it or not, even better in person! They never fail to impress.

Too cute, Jenn! What is your theme? And I am dying to know how is the petal made on the lollipop cupcakes? They’re so cute!

Cool, love your blog! I`m actually planning my son`s first birthday party right now, too. I`m thinking about using the hungry little catepiller book as inspiration…
    good luck with the party!

I can’t wait to see what you do! Those sushi snacks are so cute! I wish my kids ate veggies. Big jars of candy and cookies are great decorations. Since it’s October, candy corn is always pretty and inexpensive.

I loved your comment about making a coupon for your husband and Facebook! Ha. I need to make myself one for blogging:-)

Hey- Bmommy… I made a cute hungry caterpillar cake by cutting a bunt cake in half. You can see a photo on my blog under the birthday cake section.

Monique, the recipe is somewhere on marthastewart.com, and I believe the petal is cut out of taffy! I bet you wanna come over the night before the party to cut out leaves! : P
