Posted a quick tutorial over at Good Look Cookbook today.
Also, here’s a download of my handwritten type used in the design:

Primary Stuff
March 7, 2010

The first Primary (the children’s organization of my church) download of many more maybe? With my new calling as Primary secretary, I imagine I’ll be regularly designing little things here and there.
These are assignment cards for the children I made a few weeks ago. Card assignments include opening prayer, Article of Faith recitation, scripture reading, and talk. These are given to assignees a week ahead of time so they can prepare for the following Sunday.
If you’re serving in a Primary presidency and could use these cards, download the PDF by clicking on the image below.
L’Amour Valentines
January 28, 2010
I have a modest stack of these valentines now listed in the shop. $5 for a pack of 24. For Moulin Rouge fans on an inkjet printer strike, like me. : )
Free download: wintry notecards
November 15, 2009

Winter is very, very far away from the California coast. Just last week we were at the beach. But I can dream about bundling up in layers of tights, boots, scarves, and mittens and walking through crunchy white snow. It seems like an entirely different life when I was a little girl growing up in Chicago, but I will always remember the snow. And the wonder I felt seeing the year’s first snowflakes fall out of the sky.

Care to download my free snowflake notecards? These are little, one-sided flat cards that would fit into an A2-size envelope. For personal use only, of course.

Ambrosia Paperie V2.0

More products to be added to the shop over the next week!
Bringing it back
August 13, 2009

I’ve decided I’m going to start designing and selling stationery again. I tried to stay away, but I just can’t help it. I’m aiming to reopen Ambrosia Paperie in mid-September with brand new products, so I’ll probably be losing my mind and possibly hair over the next few weeks.
Renegade Craft Fair
July 13, 2009
We visited the LA Renegade Craft Fair, and went through as *slowly* as the boys allowed. In other words, Dax’s mini tantrums and signature back-arching move kept us from staying at one booth longer than two minutes. Kai did just fine. Which is great, since he better get used to being dragged around places that involve the words ‘handmade,’ ‘arts,’ and ‘crafts.’ Many more years of that to come, kids. (But I will buy you ice cream, promise.)

for the three-color crab print above. It was really amazing.)

Mother’s Day Card for the Dads – Free Download
April 29, 2009

Maybe I stayed up past — way past — my usual bedtime of midnight to hand-letter and design this. But my Staedtler illustration pens and a 9×13 pan of brownies kept me fine company while Ryan snored away on the couch.
So do you have a honey that can use a little direction in honoring you this mother’s day? Download this free greeting card, then check off your wants needs. Because our significant others can’t read our minds. What? You didn’t know? That’s okay. I forget all the time.

Little Valentine’s Day Cards. For you. For free.
February 2, 2009

Some Valentine’s day cards I whipped up, using quotes from one of my all-time fave romantic movies, Moulin Rouge! And since free is all the rage these days, below is a downloadable PDF of these little cards, sized just like the ones you’d buy from the supermarket (back in the day) and hand out to all your school friends. Remember those?

Ryan challenged me do to some Twilight-themed valentines so, I may be sharing more designs this week. But in the meantime, hope you enjoy these!
