“Cream to the Ice” and “CC”

June 10, 2007

Remember when your parents spoke in “code” around you–spelling words out or mouthing things they obviously don’t want you to pick up on? With Kai’s developing vocab and memory of an elephant, we’ve resorted to speaking in parent-code. Ruined is the evening we casually drop “cottage cheese,” sending Kai running to the fridge asking for “Chees?? Chees??!” when it’s actually “All gawwwwn!.” “CC” is the new cottage cheese and the occasional ice cream treat is now referred to as “Cream to the Ice.”

Watch the video below if you’re interested in a 19-month-old’s remix of animal noises.

For a minute there I though Kai was loving the smell of Ryan’s sock – ewe, unless of course it’s newly wash :} Other than that, Kai is so cute making all those animal sounds. He is so smart for his age – that’s my POGIE!!!
