Happiness is childhood

June 24, 2010

Kai told me the other day — in a very animated fashion — that he had a dream where he was flying. It’s been a while since I’ve last had a flying dream (hmm, stress much?), but I remember it being magnificent and exhilarating.

When my kids are grown, I hope they will look back at their childhood as one being full of love and happiness. Comments from Kai like this reassure me that I’m dong an okay job!

I think you’re doing a fantastic job! What a great dream…I can’t remember the last time I flew.

I fly all the time in dreams — but it’s more of an way to escape from people/danger vs. a leisurely float around town — I wonder, what the Freud does that mean? Great shot of Kai, btw. Also, good to know Maddie isn’t the only one who wears rain boots all the time too.
