He Stopped

Mark this day. Because Kai, who started to chase down a tractor/lawnmower monstrosity at the park today, stopped dead in his tracks when I yelled out “STOP!”

As of late, I’ve been lamenting to Ryan and my friends that I must not be raising my child right because he does not listen to me, so today was definitely a parenting milestone. Yay me.

I should also mention that I think this 1-2-3 Magic thing I recently started may be working.
Yay child psychologists.

I have a friend who is using 1-2-3-magic and has had success with the method. Although I think all children have a daring sense of independence that encourages them to thwart their mother’s wishes. Its not anything you are doing wrong LOL.

We started that 1-2-3 Magic a month ago and it really work…as long as I’m consistent with it. Seems so simple…kinda like potty training, and I’m not ready to make that sort of commitment:)
