Hi Jenn! Thanks for your note! It was so good to hear from you. Of course I remember you…you were the gal with the fun & cute sense of style and you guys came to our going away party too…and I thought then that it would’ve been fun to have gotten to know you…then we moved. :)
I’m really excited to learn that you are a graphic designer too…AND that you are interested in letterpress…AND that you are also (it seems) asked to create the R.S. fliers/invites for your ward too…and more! we have to stay in touch…i’ve so many ?’s for you! when’s the best time to call?
by the way…congratulations on your 2 boys! they are so cute!
p.s. don’t ya love joanna!
I saw your adorable party on Nesting’s blog. Just wondering how you did the capes? A friend and I are trying to figure out the best/easiest way to do capes for our daughters and friends. It looks like regular knit fabric. Is it just a pull over cape? What is the best way to attach the cape to the kids’ necks with minimal choking hazards?
I run science themed birthday parties here in Manhattan, so I’m always interested in fun, creative parties.
My name is Jenn. I am a graphic designer and mother to two small boys. I blog about the good things: my family, design, and other forms of inspiration.

Hello,
I saw your adorable party on Nesting’s blog. Just wondering how you did the capes? A friend and I are trying to figure out the best/easiest way to do capes for our daughters and friends. It looks like regular knit fabric. Is it just a pull over cape? What is the best way to attach the cape to the kids’ necks with minimal choking hazards?

And, I’m also LDS.
It really was a great party…I’m glad Nesting covered it!
P.S. I’m so intrigued by the letterpress studio idea. Very cool. Can’t wait to see what you come up with in your shop.
